Mobile Nuclear Medicine Services — Professional, Compliant, and Scheduled Around You.

Not every facility needs a full-time nuclear medicine department. But every patient deserves access to one. FRNS brings complete, professionally managed nuclear medicine services directly to rural hospitals, imaging centers, and clinics across Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska — on a schedule built around your patient volume.

How It Works

Simple for Your Facility. Comprehensive for Your Patients.

FRNS mobile services operate on a contracted visit schedule — weekly or monthly depending on your volume. We arrive on your designated visit day fully equipped and ready to scan. Your staff handles patient scheduling and assists with certain clinical support functions. We handle the nuclear medicine from start to finish.

Before Your Visit Day

We coordinate dose ordering, confirm the schedule with your team, and ensure everything is prepared so the day runs smoothly from the first patient to the last.

On Your Visit Day

Our certified nuclear medicine technologist arrives with the equipment, sets up, scans your patients, processes and transmits images directly to your PACS for physician interpretation, and completes all required QC documentation.

After Your Visit Day

Images are in your PACS, documentation is complete, and FRNS handles billing for the service. Your facility receives professional nuclear medicine without the overhead of managing a department.

What FRNS Provides

Everything Required to Run a Safe, Compliant Nuclear Medicine Program.

Your facility provides the space and the patients. FRNS provides everything else — so you can offer nuclear medicine services without building a department from the ground up.

Equipment & Maintenance

FRNS owns, operates, and maintains all imaging equipment. We handle all state-required annual testing and QC compliance.

Certified Technologist Staffing

Every visit is performed by a credentialed nuclear medicine technologist employed by FRNS.

RAM License & RSO

FRNS holds the Radioactive Materials license and provides full Radiation Safety Officer oversight for every facility on our mobile route.

Dose Ordering & Management

We coordinate all radiopharmaceutical ordering and delivery for each visit day.

Image Acquisition & PACS Transmission

Our technologist acquires and processes all patient images on-site and transmits them directly to your PACS system. Studies are available the same day.

Physician Education & Scheduling Support

We assist with referring physician education and provide scheduling guidance to help your team maximize each visit day.

Who This Is For

Built for Facilities That Deserve Better Than “We Don’t Offer That.”

Rural hospitals, independent imaging centers, and community clinics often face the same challenge — their patients need nuclear medicine studies, but the volume doesn’t justify the cost of a full in-house department. FRNS exists to solve exactly that problem. Our mobile program gives smaller facilities access to the same professional, compliant nuclear medicine services that major health systems take for granted — without the overhead, the staffing headaches, or the regulatory burden. Your patients get the care they need. Your facility adds a valuable service line. And your referring physicians stop sending patients elsewhere.

Regional Coverage

Serving Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska.

FRNS has operated established mobile nuclear medicine routes across the Mountain West and Plains regions since 2006. We currently serve 36 contracted facilities on active weekly and monthly schedules. If your facility is in our service area and interested in adding nuclear medicine services, we would welcome the conversation.
