Nationwide leasing coverage

Interim Nuclear Medicine Leasing — Built Around Your Department, Not the Other Way Around.

Whether you need short-term coverage while your department is down or a long-term custom-configured unit built to your exact clinical specifications, FRNS has been the trusted leasing partner for hospitals nationwide since 2006.

Two Lease Types

Two Ways We Can Help — One Standard of Excellence

Short-Term Interim Coverage

Camera down. Remodel underway. Space constraints forcing patients elsewhere. Whatever the reason, FRNS can deploy a fully equipped interim nuclear medicine unit to your site and have you back up and running fast — without sacrificing clinical capability or patient experience. Our units are purpose-built semi-trailers designed by nuclear medicine technologists to replicate the workflow and capability of a permanent in-house department.

Long-Term Lease / Build to Suite

For facilities with longer-term needs, FRNS offers fully custom-configured units built around your specific clinical requirements. You tell us what studies you need to perform. We present your options, lock in an agreement, and build the unit to your specifications. These are typically 3–5 year commitments. FRNS is the first — and as of 2026, the only — company to have built and deployed a SPECT/CT system in a mobile leasing unit.

The Nationwide Leader in Purpose-Built Imaging Environments

When your hospital faces a remodel, equipment failure, or a sudden increase in patient volume, you need more than just a piece of equipment. You need a fully functional, high-performance nuclear medicine department that can be deployed anywhere in the continental United States.

Front Range Nuclear Services (FRNS) delivers purpose-built semi-trailers—not cramped box trucks—designed by nuclear medicine technologists to ensure clinical excellence from day one.

What's Inside Every FRNS Unit

A Complete Nuclear Medicine Department. Not Just a Camera.

Full-Service Support

We Don’t Drop Off a Trailer and Hand You a Manual.

Every FRNS lease includes complete end-to-end support. From the moment our truck arrives at your facility to the day we retrieve the unit, our team is with you.

Delivery & Setup

Our team handles every aspect of delivery, positioning, leveling, and power connection. We manage the site setup so your staff can focus on patient care from day one.

Network & PACS Integration

We coordinate directly with your IT and PACS administrator to configure DICOM routing, worklist connectivity, and network integration before the first patient arrives.

Protocol Configuration

We set up your acquisition and processing protocols to match your department’s workflow — before delivery where possible, and completed on-site with your team before the first patient.

Applications Training

Every lease includes on-site applications training for your nuclear medicine staff. We don’t leave until your team is confident and clinically ready.

Ongoing Applications Support

After training ends, support doesn’t. Your staff has direct phone access to our applications team for the duration of the lease. No switchboard. No help desk ticket. No waiting for a callback. One call and you reach the person who can help.

Dedicated Field Service Engineer

Our in-house FSE is available by direct phone contact throughout your lease. When something goes wrong with the equipment, you are not calling a manufacturer’s support line or waiting on a third-party technician. You have direct access to our engineer — the person who knows your specific unit.

Nationwide Coverage

Wherever You Are, We’ve Likely Been There.

FRNS deploys interim units across the continental United States. We have extensive experience navigating the regulatory requirements of some of the most complex states in the country — including California, where HCD inspection requirements and additional state oversight add layers that many leasing companies are simply not equipped to handle. If your facility is in a challenging regulatory environment, we have been there before and we know what it takes to get your unit approved and operational.

Expert Support from Delivery to Discharge

We don’t just drop off a trailer; we ensure your team is ready to provide care.

  • On-Site Setup: Our experts handle delivery, setup, and leveling to ensure the system is stable and clinical-ready.
  • Apps Training: Every lease includes two days of on-site applications training for your hospital’s staff.
  • 24/7 Technical Support: You have direct phone access to our team and 24/7 support from our dedicated in-house Field Service Engineer (FSE).

Flexible Terms: We offer both short-term interim coverage and long-term leasing options with allowed rental extensions.

The Cost of Going Dark Is Higher Than You Think

A nuclear medicine department offline isn’t just a clinical inconvenience — it’s thousands of dollars in lost procedure revenue every single day. You’re paying idle technologist salaries with no camera to run, losing patient volume to competing facilities, and eroding the physician referral relationships that took years to build. Every patient redirected elsewhere discovers a new provider. Every referring physician who finds an alternative gets comfortable using it. FRNS interim units eliminate downtime entirely, so your staff stays productive, your patients stay local, your referrals stay intact — and your revenue stream never stops.
