About FRNS — Nuclear Medicine Is Not What We Do. It's All We Do.

This About FRNS page content is designed to reflect the company’s 25-year history of specialization, emphasizing that they are experts in nuclear medicine rather than general equipment brokers.

Our Story: Built From the Inside Out

Front Range Nuclear Services was founded in 2006 with a straightforward mission — provide hospitals, imaging centers, and clinics with the kind of nuclear medicine expertise and operational reliability that only comes from people who have actually worked in the field.

That foundation matters. FRNS has operated live nuclear medicine departments for nearly two decades — managing real equipment, real staff, real compliance, and real patients every single day. When we design and deploy an interim leasing unit, we are not guessing at what a functional nuclear medicine department looks like. We have been running them since the beginning.

That experience is what separates an FRNS interim unit from anything else on the market — and it is why hospitals trust us not just to deliver a trailer, but to deliver a department.

Our People: The Team Behind FRNS Is Not What You'd Expect From a Small Company

In an industry where turnover is common and institutional knowledge walks out the door regularly, FRNS operates differently. Our team includes professionals who have been with the company for 26 years, 20-plus years, and 15-plus years. These are not hired hands — they are the foundation of everything FRNS delivers to its customers every day.

Our most recent hire came to us as a Weber State University nuclear medicine student completing her clinical rotation at an FRNS site. We offered her a full-time position when she graduated, and she has been part of our team for four years. That is the FRNS culture in a single story — we invest in people, and they stay.

When you work with FRNS, you are not getting a rotating cast of technologists and service reps. You are getting a team that knows nuclear medicine deeply, knows your site specifically, and is committed to your program’s success for the long term.

What Sets FRNS Apart

Specialization Over Generalization. Every Time.

We own our equipment

FRNS is not a broker. We own, operate, and maintain every piece of equipment we deploy. That means accountability, faster service, and no third parties between you and a solution when something goes wrong.

We employ our technologists

Every nuclear medicine technologist who works at an FRNS site is a direct FRNS employee — credentialed, experienced, and invested in the quality of care your patients receive.

We hold our own licenses

FRNS holds its own Radioactive Materials license and provides RSO oversight at every managed site. Regulatory compliance is our responsibility — not something we hand off to the facility.

We solve problems others won't touch

From complex regulatory environments to custom-configured long-term lease builds — including the first and only SPECT/CT deployed in a mobile leasing unit as of 2026 — FRNS has built a reputation for finding solutions where others see obstacles.

It is a commitment we take seriously. If you are a Weber State student interested in a clinical rotation with FRNS, we welcome your inquiry.

Our Story: Specialization Over Generalization

Front Range Nuclear Services (FRNS) is a nuclear-medicine-only specialty provider. Unlike multi-modality brokers or generalists, nuclear medicine is all we do, and we have done it exceptionally well for over 25 years.

We understand the “nuclear medicine headache” because we live it every day. Our company was built by nuclear medicine technologists who recognized the need for purpose-built equipment and expert-led clinical operations. Whether we are managing a regional hospital department or delivering a full-size imaging trailer across the country, our focus remains on clinical excellence and operational reliability.

What Sets FRNS Apart?

We don’t just lease equipment; we provide expert-designed environments that function as a “department on wheels”.
